Pimsleur

The Pimsleur approach gets you speaking immediately, and uses a pre-defined pattern of repetition that means you are constantly reviewing old content. It requires your absolute concentration, but the lessons are only 30 minutes long and it's a fantastic way to get started if you are in the mood to speak immediately. There is no written element to this course, there's barely even a phrase book. This entire approach is focused on your listening and speaking skills.
